Installation Time & Care Instructions
- Approx. 20 minutes.
⚠︎ Be aware of the edges on all sheet metal components and take extra care during handling.
⚠︎ Ensure that the area where the load will be installed is free from any obstructions.
- Torque all M8 fasteners to 28.4 Nm.
Fitment Steps
Step 1
- Ensure that the desired position will not cause any obstruction when using the lid.
- For the small lock box: Slide 2 x M8 x 20 hexagonal screws into each top rail on the sides of the ammo box rack. Confirm the spacing between the screws. Fig. 2.2.1
- For the large lock box: Slide 3 x M8 x 20 hexagonal screws into each top rail on the side of the ammo box rack. Confirm the spacing between the screws. Fig. 2.2.2
Step 2
- Familiarize yourself with the underside dedicated for the fitment screws. Fig. 2.3.1
- Place the lock box into the ammo box rack with the screws entering the dedicated fitment holes. Fig. 2.3.2
- Once the lock box is resting on top of the ammo box rack with the position confirmed, secure the lock box with 1 x M8 flat washer and 1 x M8 nyloc nut on each screw. Fig. 2.3.3
Step 3
- You have now successfully completed the fitment of your Rhinoman lock box.
- Confirm that all the fitment screws have been properly tightened one last time.
- Be sure to check at least bi-monthly that all the screws are still properly tightened.
