Fitment Steps
Step 1
Remove the most outer (fitment) brackets from the ammo box rack assembly, by loosening the M8 nyloc nuts at the bottom of each bracket. Fig. 2.2.1
Ensure not to misplace the removed M8 nyloc nuts, as you will need to use them again.
Step 2
FOR XP/XT CANOPY FITMENT: Install 2 x M8 x 20 Hexagonal screws into the bottom side rail on the left-and-right-hand side of the canopy. Fig. 2.3.1
Align the screws with the illustrated slots in the fitment bracket then push the bracket against the rail and hold in position. Fig. 2.3.2
Fasten the bracket in place with 1 x M8 flat washer and 1 x M8 nyloc nut over each screw.
Repeat the process for the opposite side. Fig. 2.3.3
FOR RHINOLITE CANOPY FITMENT: Align the dedicated slots with three M6 riv-nuts pre-installed in the canopy. Fig. 2.3.4
Fix the bracket in place with 1 x M6 x 20 hexagonal screws, 1 x M6 spring washer, and 1 x M6 flat washer in each M6 riv-nut. Fig. 2.3.5
Step 3
Prior to placing the ammo box rack onto the previously installed fitment brackets, ensure that both brackets are in line with one another.
Place the ammo box rack onto the fitment brackets, with the bolts at the bottom entering the dedicated slots in the fitment brackets. Fig. 2.4.1
Position the ammo box center to the canopy, then secure the ammo box rack to the fitment brackets by fastening all 16 x screws with 1 x M8 flat washer and 1 x M8 nyloc nut each. Fig. 2.4.2
Step 4
You have now successfully completed the fitment of your Rhinoman ammo box rack.
Confirm that all the fitment screws have been properly tightened one last time.
Be sure to check at least bi-monthly that all the screws are still properly tightened.
