  • Ensure that the correct tools and PPE are used whilst installing the canopy. Clean the rear cab window before fitting the canopy.
  • Torque all M8 fasteners to approx. 28Nm.

Fitment Steps

Step 1
  • Unpack all fasteners from packaging: ensure that everything is accounted for as indicated above.
  • Prepare all required tools as listed above.
Step 2
  • Remove any cab guards, roll bar, tonneau cover, sports bar etc. from vehicle.
  • Ensure that the rear cab window of the vehicle is clean, before loading the canopy onto the load bin.
Step 3
  • Place the front fitment brackets right in the corner of the load bin’s front-and-side panel, with the top of the brackets flush with the load bin. Use the below image as reference.
  • Using the fastener’s hole positions in the brackets, mark the positions on the load bin to drill accordingly.
  • Remove the brackets from position and drill a Ø9mm hole into the load bin.
  • After drilling all 8 x holes, fasten the brackets in position. Ensure these brackets are flush with the top of the load bin.

Step 4
  • Load the canopy onto the loading bin, align & space evenly, with a minimum distance of 25mm between the front panel of the canopy and the cab.(Fig. 1)
  • Using the holes in the corners of the rear ribs of the canopy, mark and drill a Ø9mm hole in each rear corner of the canopy right through the vehicle load box, in line with the center of the load box edge.
  • Once both rear corners are drilled:
o Secure the front of the canopy via 2 x M8x25 bolts, 2 x M8 body washers on top and 2 x M8 flat washers at the bottom.
o Secure the rear of the canopy via 2 x M8x35 bolts, 2 x M8 body washers on top and 2 x M8 flat washers at the bottom.

Step 5
  • Trim sealing rubber on tailgate with knife or scissors.
  • Check again for alignment of canopy on sides of loading bin.
  • Check all bolts one final time. All fasteners can be fastened to 25Nm.
  • Enjoy your NEW Rhinoman canopy.
